User instructions were inadequate.

Product didn’t come with the round yellow sponge as advertised in their YouTube post. The product’s use instructions were different than their YouTube instructions. Overall, use instructions were inadequate.

The gloss is very nice but the instructions are somewhat inadequate and there is a real chance you do something wrong, which I also experienced.

Decent

I put this on my silver 18' F150. It was much easier to put on than many of the videos I watched of other products. However, it didn't seem to give that super smooth finish like wax gives. It was pouring rain after I installed the product and water did not sheet up like the truck did prior. Since my truck is silver its difficult to tell if this gave it any more shine but the water beads nicely and as long as it protects my finish this was a win. Just wish the finish felt smoother.

So far not very impressed with the product but the seller does care very much about the user experience.

I have 20 years experience detailing cars. However, I applied the product per the instructions, 1) Clean the surface 2) Apply Pre-prep 3) Wipe on the ceramic coat with the included sponge, carefully up/down and left/right to evenly coat the surface. 4) Wipe with a wet cloth to further spread the coating 5) Buff with a clean microfibre towel. The process is easy enough, and I'm sure the coating remained on the surface after the application, I did not remove the coating during the process. However, it does not appear to be doing a very good job of repelling dirt and moisture, not really any better than my other car that only has a waxed surface. Included with the kit was enough product to coat two cars, I'm not sure if I will bother doing a second one as it might be a waste of time. The seller has been in contact with me to determine why I wasn't completely satisfied with 9H Ceramic coat. The customer service has been very good and they did offer some recommendations on things I could do to improve the experience. However, I have yet to determine if I did anything wrong and don't see how the outcome would be much different. I have increased my review from one star to three stars due to the customer service being much better than expected. Just because the product didn't work out as I'd hoped, maybe others will be happier with the product. The price is really good given you can coat two vehicles with what is in the kit.

it's not that great. Certainly not like the videos you see in ...

I as well prepped the car with a two stage compound/sealant then applied this product a day after sitting in the garage. Followed all instructions. It came out just okay. I would say it did help with reduction of scratches. I have a black car and even using a microfiber cloth you could see light mark's in the paint. So it did reduce that. As far as hydrophobic; it's not that great. Certainly not like the videos you see in their ad. Shine, again, meh. I think a paint sealant has better shine. I also found it to be somewhat sticky after. I was expecting a glass like smooth finish but No. I think for the price, it's just an okay product. I did a lot of prep work at least 6hrs worth before hand and it took another 2 hours to apply this. Was hoping for better results.

Very suspect

So i applied the product with no issues at all Washed my brand new car Clay bared it Then pre treatment While pretreatment was still wet , I applied ceramic coating Let sit for 8 min due to it being 50 degrees out Wiped down with damp micro cloth Then used dry micro cloth All came out fine BUT i will bet anything that this product will not last even 6 -12 mths I know they say that there product is different but listen if it is truly 9h ceramic then alls we are doing is wiping off most of the product with a damp cloth,, no way sorry No other 9h product out there tells you to wipe it off with a damp cloth Also , i even let it sit for like 15 min on purpose at the bottom plastic guard of my back fender and it still did not even haze a bit I even put 2 coats on Looks good right now after a week but I bet there will be alot of refund claims on this one including me if this does not last even 6 mths which i dought it will, time will tell,,, but the first time this does not bead up after washing it ill be back I read the reviews and is to why i tried it out but after actually using it, like i said you are literally wiping it away and taking most of it off with a damp cloth and this stuff will not haze up at all even after 15 min sitting there There is my 2 cents

Nice packaging but the love affair ends there.

Nice packaging and everything but the instructions and videos are totally wrong. In the video it looks like the guy is putting on the ceramic coating onto the bonnet that is still wet with the cleaner. You have to use the cleaner and then dry it all off before you wipe on the ceramic coating and buff the ceramic coating. The other myth seems to be that this is a super complex job to do and that you might get build up that leads to streaks. While that may be possible it is highly unlikely as the liquid is about the same viscosity as WD40. In other words you would have to be very careless to get it to build up and get uneven. After completion I was not all that impressed! Yes it has a good shine but it does not have a deep rich shine like Carnauba Wax and while it does last longer I really have serious serious doubts that it will last 5 years, I think a year is more likely, at best two. I guess my biggest disappointment is the lack of factual long term information on what to do when the stuff starts to wear out. Some companies offer rejuvenation spray and other people say you can just recoat it. Most of the detailers are saying that it needs to be professionally buffed off. I don't want to loose any of my clear coat during buffing so I am hesitant to recommend this product or any ceramic product to a friend. At the end of the day how hard is it to wax your car every 3-4 months versus doing this and jumping into the unknown.

Better hydrophobic out there, several coats, WILL UPDATE

Alright so let's start out by saying this. I first washed the car, then compounded, and polished the whole vehicle by machine. After that, car was looked over to make sure all surfaces were perfect, and then wiped down twice with an alcohol water mixture 75/25. All glass, plastic and paint was covered with 2 coats (have one coat left to apply from first purchase, I bought 2 because I wanted to do 4-8 coats). 2 coats sat and cured for 48 hours. I went out to the car noticed a small place on passenger door which I'm guessing didn't 100% get applied properly(seemed alittle rough, possibly high spots, looked fine when I left the car but when returning it was there), so took some alcohol n water mixture 75/25, and used some elbow grease to get it leveled out, then reapplied two coats. So +1 for it being easy but also hard to remove at the same time. After allowing that to sit 30 hours or so, I took the car out. Hydrophobic. Abilities are alittle disappointing. Yes the water beads up, and rolls off, but not as great as others where you have been able to see in ads where it really does just roll completely off the car. I will update this as I'm going to apply 4 more coats here in the next few days... maybe the coating isn't thick enough after two coats? I do still have about a 1/3 of the bottle left after 2 full coats so I should be able to apply 3 per bottle. I should also note this is being applied on a 2000 Honda Insight Hybrid. Basically a coupe. The car also seemed to get dirty from the salt on the road which I'm not counting off on that because what car doesn't get dirty from salt on the road lol. I did have a rock hit my windshield today on the interstate going about 75mph. I think it may have barely damaged the coating in the slightest amount, but did no damage the windshield... and it was a pretty big rock, I saw it coming from the driver side and it hit the passenger side. I also applied this to the front of my phone and back... dropped it, not one scuff scratch or Nick, so I think this is great for a screen protector and to protect the phone in general from minor drops n keys n such. I have not washed the car (will do that in 2 to 3 days before applying other coats) I felt most coatings ask u to wait a week before washing with soap, so I can't add to how easy it is to clean yet. Again 3 stars is due to the initial impressions... I will say it did add a little bit deeper gloss and shine to the car, 80% due to compounding and polishing the car and correcting the paint, other 20% added from the coating. Again we're talking about a $60 coating, so I'm not expecting the most amazing effects, but $60 when it's on the middle of the market price, I do expect alittle better... I will update this review after more coats are applied, maybe it's just not on thick enough yet, but if 6 coats won't be enough then I think it's the product that has potentially failed in my eyes. Luckily this has a 5 year warranty, so if it last that long, then I will be impressed. Thanks and definitely stay tuned for the update because the stars could stay 3, or they could go up to 5! Depends how it acts after the 4 additional coats. Still I don't feel you should have to buy two packs to get the outstanding results so we will see!

Good initial impression

I bought the coating set in October 2017. Initially it works very well, water slides off the paint and doesn't stick to the car. When the car is dirty, a simple rinse can clean the car very well. Update Feb 2018 The coating starts to wear off, and a rinse from garden host can't clean the car anymore. I need to wipe the dirt with a towel. Will be keep updating this product.

For all of the steps and time it takes to apply this product, I can still have the same out come with a clay bar and a good wax. This might be a good product for someone who doesn't wash or enjoy washing/cleaning on their car.

Klasse is better & easier

This is a very hard & expensive way to keep your car paint looking good. I just use the Klasse polymer clean & protect. My Duramax truck is 15 years old & looks like new. Just wash & apply .  Klasse ALL-IN-ONE Polish 10 oz

leaked

I like the product. It works well and lasts a decent time. Application is easy enough. My big issue was the bottle was never sealed. It leaked all over everything. This happened long before it was shipped as the included towel and packaging was moldy upon arrival. It made a real mess for me to have to deal with. I would say about 1/4 of the bottle had leaked.

Ok

This is ok but none of these spray on wipe off products are the same as a true ceramic coating.
